Machine Learning Interviews: Course materials Jan '24
Recommended resources asked by learners in the live session
Hi all! I’ve been running the Machine Learning Interviews live course on the O’Reilly platform again. If you missed this one, don’t worry, there are at least 2 more coming this year! I will notify this newsletter going forward when there are new courses.
The course goes through a small subset of chapters in my book of the same title, Machine Learning Interviews (O’Reilly). It’s a great way to get started before jumping into the in-depth technical details in the book. If you’ve already read the book, then you probably already know most of the content, but there is live Q&A so I can provide personalized answers for your situation if you join.
Here’s a summary of some resources I’ve recommended to learners who asked questions in the live Q&A.

I like to use this link to check what concepts I’ve forgotten, and review them.
Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) introduction: Link
RAG has been really hot lately, so I recommended people interested in this field to look at LLM applications such as this.
I recommend also reading up on vector embeddings which have been around for a long-ish time and power a lot of NLP.
